TEAWASCO Background

TEAWASCO (Tetu Aberdare Water and Sanitation Company) is a Corporate Entity established under the Company’s Act Chapter 486 of the Laws of Kenya. It is a Company limited by guarantee and incorporated on 2nd August 2006. The company is mandated via the Service Provision Agreement (SPA) of 2nd May 2006; to provide water and sanitation services to the current Tetu District of Central Province. Tana Water Services Board (TWSB) leased TEAWASCO its assets to provide the services within the defined area and under the Service Provision Agreement (SPA).
